Alibaba plans 5-10tn-parameter AI model and unveils new chip

Alibaba plans a 5tn-to-10tn-parameter model, two to four times larger than Qwen 3.8 Max. It also unveiled a chip with triple its predecessor’s performance and targets 20GW of data-centre capacity by 2032.
